En la darrera d\u00e8cada Formentera ha desenvolupat el seu vessant de dest\u00ed per a esdeveniments esportius. Una f\u00f3rmula que trien aquells que volen gaudir de l’illa a cop de pedal, corrent, nedant o navegant. Renunciant a les cl\u00e0ssiques vacances de descans, aquests visitants han trobat una nova manera de connectar amb els atractius de sempre de Formentera, els seus paratges conservats, l’ambient tranquil i les seves inoblidables platges.<\/p>\n

El calendari de proves esportives s’allarga des de febrer a desembre i la cita m\u00e9s c\u00e8lebre \u00e9s la Mitja Marat\u00f3 (13 de maig), que ha arribat a la novena edici\u00f3 amb la necessitat de concedir els 1.700 dorsals per sorteig, donada l’alta demanda de la prova. Es tracta d’un recorregut sobre asfalt que parteix des del far de la Mola, creua es Carnatge amb els seus camps de cereal i figueres estalonades, i s’endinsa al Parc Natural pels contorns de l’estany Pudent fins a fer meta al port de la Savina. Pels qui prefereixen una cursa m\u00e9s t\u00e8cnica, la FART (25 de mar\u00e7) ofereix tres recorreguts (72, 41 i 21 km) pel litoral m\u00e9s salvatge de l’illa, un trail que explora senders, arenals, vials amb pedres i torrents.<\/p>\n

Encara en l’\u00e0mbit dels trails, la Formentera to Run \u00e9s la f\u00f3rmula escollida per aquells que viatgen amb fam\u00edlia i aprofiten la participaci\u00f3 en una prova fragmentada en cinc etapes suaus(del 28 de maig al 3 de juny) per visitar l’illa i gaudir dels moments de descans en bona companyia.<\/p>\n

M\u00e9s enll\u00e0 del running, el 2017 torna a ser un any ple de propostes pels amants de la bicicleta de muntanya amb proves com la BTT Formentera Tracks (9 d’abril), la III BTT Es Cap Challlenge (7 de maig) o la Challenge de la Mola (29 octubre). Formentera no \u00e9s una illa amb marcats desnivells, per\u00f2 els seus dos promontoris (la Mola i es Cap) ofereixen recorreguts t\u00e8cnicament exigents que ens permetran descobrir racons allunyats de l’habitual circuit tur\u00edstic.<\/p>\n

Per gaudir de les cristal\u00b7lines aig\u00fces de l’illa, cal mencionar la V Triatl\u00f3 Illa de Formentera (7 d’octubre) amb les seves dues modalitats, ol\u00edmpica i sprint i la hist\u00f2rica Volta a Formentera en windsurf. Enguany aquesta regata arriba a la seva XXXV edici\u00f3 consolidada com una prova en qu\u00e8 tradicionalment hi participen navegants locals i en la que s’enfronta el repte de la circumnavegaci\u00f3 de la Mola, amb l\u2019exposici\u00f3 a diversos vents i amb comptats accessos a terra ferma mentre es navega ben a prop dels penya-segats de m\u00e9s de 100 metres d’al\u00e7ada.<\/p>\n
