La puerta en la isla se abre en el puerto de Ibiza, ya que es imprescindible cruzar el estrecho de Es Freus, unos 11\u202fkm de mar que separan las dos islas Pitiusas. En temporada alta hay algunos barcos que llegan desde la pen\u00ednsula o Mallorca directamente a Formentera sin tener que pasar por Ibiza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una vez hayas llegado a Formentera, te dar\u00e1s cuenta de que existe<strong> una<\/strong> <strong>carretera principal<\/strong>, se trata de una arteria que transita el camino m\u00e1s largo, desde el puerto de Sa Savina hasta el faro de Sa Mola. Un total de 20\u202fkm, la distancia de la PM-820.<\/p>\n\n\n    <div class=\"ad ad-type-timetable ad-has-image\">\r\n      <div class=\"ad-wrapper\">\r\n        <a href=\"\/en\/ads\/url\/161\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"background: url(\/en\/ads\/img\/161\/timetable?p=6ada2bfc828e5)\">\r\n                      <span class=\"title\">LEAP Consultoria<\/span>\r\n            <span class=\"description\"><\/span>\r\n            <span class=\"ad-footer\"><\/span>\r\n                  <\/a>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n    \n\n\n\n<p>Se trata de una carretera con un \u00fanico carril por sentido y con carril bici. No hay ning\u00fan sem\u00e1foro y durante la traves\u00eda solo encontrar\u00e1s tres rotondas. Es un camino recto que pasa por los principales n\u00facleos urbanos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00danicamente existe un tramo en el que hay algunas curvas y es en la subida hacia el <strong>Cap de la Mola,<\/strong> un recorrido f\u00e1cil siempre que no te encuentres con alg\u00fan bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta carretera tiene dos variantes: la que se dirige al sur, PMV 820-1, con un total de 9,2 kil\u00f3metros que empiezan en Sant Francesc para llegar hasta el Cap de Barberia. La que se dirige al sur es la PM 820-2, uniendo Sa Savina hasta Sant Ferran. Son unos 7,4 kil\u00f3metros que atraviesan el parque natural de Ses Salines.<\/p>\n\n\n    <div class=\"ad ad-type-timetable ad-has-image\">\r\n      <div class=\"ad-wrapper\">\r\n        <a href=\"\/en\/ads\/url\/164\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"background: url(\/en\/ads\/img\/164\/timetable?p=6ada2bfc828e5)\">\r\n                      <span class=\"title\">Formotor<\/span>\r\n            <span class=\"description\"><\/span>\r\n            <span class=\"ad-footer\"><\/span>\r\n                  <\/a>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n    \n\n\n\n<p>De esta carretera principal salen arterias para llegar a varias playas. Para acceder a algunas de ellas hay que hacerlo a pie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Del 15 de junio al 15 de septiembre existe una regulaci\u00f3n de la circulaci\u00f3n de veh\u00edculos<\/strong>, por lo que debe solicitarse una autorizaci\u00f3n para acceder con un veh\u00edculo a la isla, ya que en Formentera pueden circular un m\u00e1ximo de 10.956 veh\u00edculos.
