{"id":3692,"date":"2017-03-09T15:00:58","date_gmt":"2017-03-09T15:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/proximoferry.com\/blog\/?p=3692"},"modified":"2024-07-01T12:36:35","modified_gmt":"2024-07-01T12:36:35","slug":"los-otros-visitantes-de-formentera-las-aves","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/proximoferry.com\/blog\/2017\/03\/09\/los-otros-visitantes-de-formentera-las-aves\/","title":{"rendered":"LOS OTROS VISITANTES DE FORMENTERA: LAS AVES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>M\u00e1s de doscientas especies de aves han encontrado su h\u00e1bitat en la isla.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hoy en d\u00eda sin embargo, los m\u00e1ximos registros se dan especialmente a finales de verano, cuando se han llegado a contabilizar unos dos mil ejemplares.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Texto: Josep Rubio | Fotograf\u00eda: Ramon Tur<\/em><\/p>\n<p>La peculiaridad de Formentera no es tanto que re\u00fana especies singulares o ex\u00f3ticas sino m\u00e1s bien que las reducidas dimensiones de su territorio proporcionan al observador atento la posibilidad de contemplar desde una extraordinaria proximidad las aves, que se han habituado a la vecindad con los humanos.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1s de doscientas especies de aves han encontrado su h\u00e1bitat en la isla, especialmente en el noroeste, una zona h\u00fameda de unos 10 km\u00b2 declarada Parque Natural y Zona de Especial Protecci\u00f3n de Aves, que cuenta con dos lagunas saladas y con multitud de lagunas de la antigua industria salinera. Un entorno protegido en el que abunda la vegetaci\u00f3n hal\u00f3fila que proporciona alimento y cobijo a las especies que nidifican, como el tarro blanco o la avoceta com\u00fan o de otros que buscan refugio durante las migraciones, como las garzas o los flamencos. El Estany Pudent es el epicentro de esta actividad ornitol\u00f3gica y su contorno, de menos de 10 kil\u00f3metros, es plano y se puede recorrer f\u00e1cilmente en bicicleta, ya que una carretera con carril bici salva la mitad norte del per\u00edmetro y por la otra mitad pasa el camino de s&#8217;Estany, ideal para caminar o para pedalear.<\/p>\n<p>Precisamente a lo largo de este camino, es donde mejor se puede contemplar el h\u00e1bitat vegetal en que vive esta multitud de p\u00e1jaros. All\u00ed observaremos el bosque mediterr\u00e1neo, representado por el pino blanco, la sabina, el romero o el tomillo y la vegetaci\u00f3n adaptada al ambiente salino del estanque, con las diversas especies de suelos, juncos, boga y los suelos m\u00e1s rocosos, los limonium.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1s all\u00e1 del litoral, donde encontraremos aves puramente marinas, como la pardela balear, el vencejo negro o el halc\u00f3n peregrino, en el Estany Pudent, se pueden distinguir los avisadores que cr\u00edan y, entre las lim\u00edcolas, adem\u00e1s del flamenco, el chorlitejo patinegro. Aunque el p\u00e1jaro acu\u00e1tico m\u00e1s abundante es la capbussonera. Antiguamente Formentera era el punto de invernaci\u00f3n donde se concentraban m\u00e1s ejemplares de la Europa occidental.
